April flowers bring...Wait. Strike that, reverse it.
Spring has sprung
The grass has riz
I wonder where
The flowers is?
But if I know
Just where to seek
A little greeny
Might just peek
'Cause spring has sprung
Despite deep snow
And hardy crocus
Still will grow!!
Heck, we can't all be Naomi Nye or Billy Collins. :)

Has anyone a copy of the poem 'A Mother's Strike'? It starts out: "I had a dream so dreadful, it really was a fright! I dreamed that mother's everywhere, determined on a strike. They said that they were tired of working night and day, for very little thank yous, and not a bit of pay!'
Compost Happens is a personal blog: part family, part garden, part crunchy green eco-writer. I'm Daisy, and I'm the groundskeeper here. I take care of family, garden, and coffee, when I'm not teaching and doing laundry.
